A Review and Design of Framework for Storing and Querying RDF Data Using NoSQL Database

چکیده
This paper reviews existing systems and describes a design of RDF database system that uses NoSQL database to store the data which aims to enhance performance of the Semantic Web applications. RDF data is a standard of data in the form of Subject-Predicate-Object called Triples and stored in database called Triple Store. Typically RDF database system uses SPARQL query language to query the RDF data from Triple Store database, e.g. Jena TDB. Our design of RDF database system uses NoSQL database, i.e.,MongoDB, to store the data in JSON-LD format and query by using query API of NoSQL database. We will use the Berlin SPARQL Benchmark to compare the performance of Triple Store and NoSQL systems.

Distributed RDF Triple Store Using HBase and Hive
The growth of web data has presented new challenges regarding the ability to effectively query RDF data. Traditional relational database systems efficiently scale and query distributed data. With the development of Hadoop its implementation of the MapReduce Framework along with HBase, a NoSQL data store, the semantics of processing and querying data has changed. Given the existing structure of ...

Today recruiters find their suitable human resources by searching in the job related web sites. In the same way, the job seekers also select their suitable jobs. The job seekers post their resumes in the multiple web sites. The HR tools available in the market make the job of recruiters easy by giving them the suitable resumes. Still, there is a good chance that the relevant documents may be mi...
متن کاملBitMat – Scalable Indexing and Querying of Large RDF Graphs
The growing size of Semantic Web data expressed in the form of Resource Description Framework (RDF) has made it necessary to develop effective ways of storing this data to save space and to query it in a scalable manner. SPARQL – the query language for RDF data – closely follows SQL syntax. As a natural consequence most of the RDF storage and querying engines are based on modern database storag...
متن کاملA MapReduce Approach to NoSQL RDF Databases
In recent years, the increased need to house and process large volumes of data has prompted the need for distributed storage and querying systems. The growth of machine-readable RDF triples has prompted both industry and academia to develop new database systems, called “NoSQL,” with characteristics that differ from classical databases. Many of these systems compromise ACID properties for increa...

Given the increasing prevalence of RDF data formats for storing and sharing data on the Semantic Web, efficient storage mechanisms for RDF data are also becoming increasingly important. We survey existing storage solutions for RDF data in an RDMS. Two recent and novel storage concepts open the door for significantly better querying efficiency. The first, proposed by Matono, et al (2005), models...
